The Center for Contemporary Dance, Inc. is a 501(c)(3) nonprofit arts organization that supports six professional dance companies, reaching thousands of people of all ages, races and economic backgrounds through inspiring productions, innovative art-education programs and active community outreach. In order to continue expanding our artistic and educational endeavors, we need your help. Please consider joining us in our mission by contributing to one of the Funds outlined below. Contributions to The Center for Contemporary Dance, Inc. are tax-deductible and gifts of all amounts make a difference. You may also make your contribution by completing this Contributor’s Form and sending it with your donation to the address noted on the form. For your convenience, The Center also accepts stock donations. Your support enables us to provide our professional and aspiring Artists with the tools necessary to present new and exciting works that empower our community through the arts. The Dance for Change Fund: Supports all programs, goals and activities associated with The Center's Dance for Change initiative and creates a stable financial base from which The Center can thrive economically and expand artistically. When completing the online donation form, please designate your gift to “Dance for Change.”

The Pre-Professional Scholarship Fund: Provides financial assistance to talented, economically-disadvantaged dancers studying at The Center. The Center currently provides assistance to more than 30 students preparing for a career in dance. When completing the online donation form, please designate your gift to “The Scholarship Fund.”

The Sherrie L. Flack Freedom to Dance Scholarship Fund: Provides professional and personal development to talented underserved children by covering the cost of dance education, dancewear, transportation, admission to professional performances and, when necessary, access to academic tutoring, family counseling and guidance with college application. You may contribute to this fund by designating online donations to the "Freedom to Dance Scholarship," or by completing the Freedom to Dance Contributor’s Form.

The New Works Fund: Provides support for the creation, presentation and filming of new and exciting works by The Center for Contemporary Dance. When completing the online donation form, please be sure to designate your gift to “The New Works Fund."

The Arts in Community Fund: Supports a wide array of programs that reach underserved populations and organizations within our community, including women’s shelters, the disabled, minority children and many more. When completing the online donation form, please designate your gift to “The Arts in Community Fund.”

The Arts in Education Fund: Supports dance education programs that serve public school children and underprivileged youth. When completing the online donation form, please designate your gift to “The Arts in Education Fund.”

The Resident Artist Fund: Specifically supports the artistic endeavors of The Center’s resident dance companies, allowing them to produce and present works. When making your donation, please designate your gift to one of these companies: Patelworks Dance Theater, Emotions Dance Company, DRIP or Nao Dance.
